The Parade Committee will be responsible for ensuring all information about each parade is obtained and disseminated to the Krewe. They will coordinate the loading of beads and refreshments prior to each parade and ensure all equipment is offloaded after the parade.
The Membership Committee is responsible for the well-being of the Krewe. This includes encouraging new members to join, maintaining contacts with existing members and ensuring existing members return the following year. This will involve scheduling socials throughout the year to bring all the members together. They will also plan and organize a major end-of-year party.
The Krewe will always have a need for funds above those obtained via membership dues. Most of the funds go to our "invasions" where we provide beads and gifts for charities and also where we simply provide whatever is needed with whatever we have left. Some funds are used to offset costs for float rental, insurance, entrance fees to parades and many other items for various committees. This committee will be involved with Inter-Krewe contests, an annual golf tournament and other major events.
Communications Committee Kim Heagy
Communications is the lifeblood that will keep this Krewe connected. Informing the Krewe of events ensures no one is left behind. The Communications Committee will ensure all information applicable to the Krewe is forwarded to all members.
Community Involvement Committee
