This year's Bradenton Parade was perfect. The weather was absolutely perfect - not to hot and very sunny. Most of us spent Friday night sitting around the pool taking bets on how long it would take Brett to finally find the hotel. (Brett's new name is "Lost").
Saturday morning we all met for breakfast and got to meet Mary - our waitress. So what, you say! Mary was on the front end of a 14-hour shift. She was pleasant and nice to a bunch of pirates. We'll how she acts that night after being on her feet all day. After the parade we went back and insisted on Mary. She was just as pleasant and patient with us that evening.
We had three "newbies" for this parade. Stephanie (Ray-Ray), Dana and James. This was their first parade and its probably safe to say that none were disappointed. We had several more potential members and hopefully they all had a great time.
