2008 Christmas Parade

'Twas the month before Christmas, when all through the krewe
Nobody had an idea, nobody knew what to do;
The float had been built and painted with care,
In hopes that parade would erupt somewhere;

When, what to our wondering eyes should attend,
But an opportunity to roll the float out again.
etc.
etc.
etc.

It was a beautiful day to have a great parade.

The float was dressed up as a big present.
There was even a card that read
"To: Black Swans, From: Santa"

The kids were able to dress up the tree ahead of time.
